A bad day is a matter of perspective

“A happy and fulfilled life can be achieved by shifting our mindset from negativity to positivity”

Imagine you miss the alarm, spill coffee on your top at work, get several annoying or demanding emails, your friend cancels on you and then you burn your food whilst trying to multitask house chores.

It's so easy to dwell in negativity and rant and complain about everything bad that might have happened in a day. We feel sorry for ourselves, tell others how bad everything is, and spread more and more negative energy.

Whilst it is important to acknowledge these feelings because they are part of the human experience, it is equally important to notice when it is too much.

If we keep sowing negativity, we keep harvesting more negativity.

Or in other words: we are what we think.

There are many studies out there showing the benefits of positive thinking. From better health, less anxiety to being and feeling happier and having a positive outlook on life.

And what if I tell you it can be easy, without being delusional or unrealistic?

Let's practice with some questions:

- What good came out of the situation?

- What are you grateful for about today?

- How can we look at this situation differently?

A happy and fulfilled life can be achieved by shifting our mindset from negativity to positivity. Coaching can help to create awareness and understanding around your thought patterns and keep you on track when working on rewiring your brain and thinking to more happiness.
