And then I got certified…

Josephine Dumont, Mindset Coach, Leadership Coach

I did a thing, or maybe two (or more) in the last year or so. Not only did I change my career path from Finance to coaching leaders and those who want to finally outlive their authenticity but I also recovered from burnout, built my own business, received a diploma of higher education, underwent over 200+ hours of coaching training, worked for over 150+ hours with clients, did the Positive Intelligence Program and became a PQ Coach myself, signed up for a personal trainer course and reached Level 2 qualification (l3 here we come!), got divorce papers done and dusted, explored new shores with new love, joined forces with emei as a coach, celebrated the milestone of the oral exam for certification, freaked out about the delay of the “You passed!” email, and then I was certified.

Even though this may just be a written or official confirmation of me being a coach (which I do know I actually was born to be) it is at the same time a symbol for me for having done all of the above and more.

Most importantly I have grown as a person, I have found my purpose, and now I get to live my purpose by helping others do the same or more whilst being unapologetically themselves and extra authentic.

This growth and change is based on love. Self-love to be precise. And knowing there is more out there for me.

Knowing back when I was in an unhappy relationship, burning out at my old job, that there is something better waiting for me and in order to get there, I have to choose myself. And this, my dear reader, is one of the highest forms of self-love in my opinion.

Choosing yourself against all the odds that it can go wrong, against what others may think because it truly doesn’t matter. What matters is you and your happiness. The glistening in your eyes because your love of life is deep and profound and you can’t get enough of it. That’s the feeling you deserve to experience, you are here to experience and you are allowed to experience it.

You are here to do things your way, to shake up the status quo, and to make a difference in the world. And I am not talking about something huge (unless that is your dream, (go for it!!) But even making someone’s day just a little bit better to me equals having a positive impact on this world and everyone in it.

One spark can be enough to set free a cascade of positivity.

So why wouldn’t we try?

If you are at a point in life right now where you may feel similar to what I went through, or you are just curious about how being yourself can unlock more of your potential as a leader, colleague, friend or partner, if you are curious about what coaching may uncover, heal and bring forward so you can find alignment and purpose, or make your purpose even more real: then you are at the exact right place.

Can’t wait to connect with you!
